A 2011 Hold Me! Thrill Me! Contest Finalist (Southwest Florida Romance Writers), a 2010 Heart to Heart Finalist (SFA-RWA) and Fab Five Finalist (Wisconsin RWA), Denny is a romance writer who specializes in paranormal, urban fantasy and near-future stories featuring multi-cultural heroes and heroines. She is currently working on two novels, one is about a vampire who makes a promise to a witch he is struggling to keep, and the other, also about a vampire, but set after an apocalyptic climate change in Washington, DC. where vampires and humans compete for the body and soul of the female protagonist.
